I forgot to mention the plan. I have 2 sets of Toy axles kicking around so I'll use the better of the 2 and Lincoln lock the rear. I am going to use the 4:1 case from my samurai along with the transmission. I have the adapter to bolt it all to the stock 16v in the sidekick but that engine is pissing me off and my neighbor gave me his old 99 TDI jetta so I think I'll use that instead with a hood stack. We alsohave an old mechanical injection VW 1.9 diesel so I may use that instead for simplicity sakes. Time will tell

i pulled the sidekick into the shop today to see if i could get it running.. i found a bad fuel line and some burnt up wiring so ill patch that up and see if it will run reliably.. if it does i may stick with the gas..

well this project is on hold, i crossed over to the dark side and bought a 99 WJ it was a smokin deal that i just couldnt pass on, so let the WJ build begin

I think I am still eventually going to do the kick, I just got such a deal on the jeep it was hard to pass up, and it's an easy way to get on the trails in the mean time. I just sold my samurai so I may use the sidekick tranny and t case with some 4 or6:1 gears now.

dont worry, the jeep is just for the eaiser trails, ill still build the suzuki for the more technical trails ;D
