Yes...look after those tires for me Cindy! Hahaha Nice to meet you and Jeff Friday. We made it home safe and sound and I even started pulling parts off the old girl. Got both the skids off and tonight I'm going to jack it up and get it on blocks to start getting those control arms off. No worries - I'll look after them. Nice meeting you too Adrian, glad you got it home okay. Good luck with getting the rest of the parts you need - I imagine things are not easy to get off. Cheers, Cindy X2 Good luck! Jeff

you're right...nothing comes off easy. But that's how it is living in the great white north and working on ol Jeeps. If it won't come off with my 2 foot breaker bar there is always the cutting wheel on the grinder...recip saw...torches...oh the fun!

on the big jeep i ran 3-4 in the summer, and 2 or less for winter, depending on the snow, and what was required.
now the grand seems alot heavier, so i have run 8 for snow, and squatted the tires good, but, ive only been out once so far with this one, so im sure i will be alot lower as needed.
as for street pressure, there was an article on either the goodyear, or bfg site years ago about tire pressure.
it said that you needed to measure the weight on each tire. lets say for example you had 1000 lbs on each tire. then you look at the side wall and it gives you a carying capacity at a certain weight. for easy numbers lets say the sidewall reads 2000lbs at 40 psi the way to determine the proper air pressure is to devide the 1000 lb of the actual weight, by the 2000lb of the allowable limit, then multiply by the allowable psi, and in this case you would get 20 psi
sounds much more difficult then it is.
