Thanks Malcolm for taking care of my brakes for me. I'm crossing my fingers nothing else in the brake system got destroyed. Time will tell I guess.

DSOAB raises hand... I just recently did it myself with the wife's 2004 Dodge Dakota. She was complaining about the brakes on the truck, so I checked the master and it was down a 1/2 " or so. Run out to the garage and grab a bottle and top it off. A week or so later she said the pedal kept dropping, but I drove it and it was fine. A few days later she said it was worse so I topped it off again. Within a day the front brakes totally failed so I booked a guy to have a look. I work on vehicles but don't have time to do them all, the daily drivers usually go to a mechanic. The night before the appt I have a look and see a wet spot on the front hose, so drive 60 km to get a hose for the mechanic to replace. He put it on and no pressure from the master at all. I had to order a master and left it with him while I was away at work. When I picked it up he said there was oil in the reservoir, I said that's impossible I'm the only one that touched it. The next day while working on the Jeep I notice a bottle on the bench exactly like my brake fluid bottle with power steering fluid written on it. It was at night when I did it, I couldn't find the usual brake fluid bottle on the shelf so I grabbed the bottle out of the back of the Jeep which looked just like the bottle that's normally in the garage. Shit happens. I'm going to stick with another brand from now on so the bottles are different.

That sucks Paul! An honest mistake though, you thought you were putting brake fluid in it.
As an update to my situation, my brakes have been fine ever since Malcolm flushed my whole brake system and put on a different master. I guess if nothing has happened by now it should be good. Crossed fingers!
