hmmmm no gloves while welding eh? gunna have to invest in a pair of these for my old heep as well Don't wear gloves.Have them here but find them awkward.Some time when I'm under jeep and welding I put them on to keep hot drippings from falling down the sleave! Been there and done that,but other than that never have them on...

To use these same u-bolts on a D30 yoke would take some grinding to the yoke in order to get the nut on and may be too much and weakin yoke.Never tried up there but this has been looked at!
