Hi folks, I’m here to present to you the
North West Off Road Club Extreme 4x4 Race
that take place in Edmundston N-B
This is our 5th edition this year; it will be on July 21st, 2012 Some informations: We will open the registration sometimes in May and close it around June 20. There is 2 groups: Pro (39’’and bigger) they run the course 3 times, average of the 2 best pass win. Amateur (35’’ to 38.5’’) they run the course 2 times, best of 2 pass win. We take 12 pros and 8 amateurs for a full day of racing (9h00 to 17h00) We are giving away 10000$ in cash prizes. (6000$+ throughout pros and 4000$ throughout amateur) We have Tube Buggys, Truggys, Trucks and Jeeps at the race but the Pro class are pretty much all Quebecois. We would like to have more participants from NB and NS this year, that’s why I’m sending this to you. We have camping place for participants or we would help you to find a motel or something. Rue saw it on the Jeep board, I've already let Malcolm know...Until we catch some bills up I can't afford to take my rig but I would be stuck in the Pro category with the Rockwells, Horsepower and 54" tire guys...lol..I'd rather go back to a smaller tire and run the amateur class...  Oh and Rue did say he is planning to go, as well as Shawn. |

I'm running in the pro class...
toyota , 22re , dual t case , SAS 3'' TG , 4.88 detroit front , diry30's rear spool 4.88 ,on 39.5 Irok....
I finish 2nd of the amateur last year , same setup except 36 TSL , no diry30's ...
Amateur is anything from stock (must be on 35'' tire) truck to full moded on 38.5...
Pro class is a little bit more....
5-6 jeeps on dana60 , air shock , coil over , 500+ HP , 44tsl, 44 pitbull, 46 bajaclaw , 47 LTB
Buggy or truggys on dana60 , some on rockwell , 4ws , big bloc 8.1 vortec , 454 carb , 44 cut bogger to 54 bogger ...
But , some place , the size of the rig is not important , even smaller is better... tight place , we try to make the courses really tight and tricky... Harder on the driver then the rig...

Registration for the 2012 Extreme 4x4 Race of the North West off Road Club are now open. The race will be held on July 21, 2012 in Edmundston N.-B. Our race is a competition based on speed and precision. Hill, Frame twister, Mud run, Concrete block and pipe, Big Tire … are all parts of the race for testing the ability and performance of the drivers and there rigs. We have 2 classes : Pro Class, 39’’ and bigger tire, no limit on modifications. Amateur Class, 38.5’’ and smaller tire, no limit on modifications.
