So what's the word on how many are coming to this? Who am i looking for sunday? The group meeting in Amherst: Tim (orange YJ) Mark and Barb (yellow CJ) Paul from NB (silver TJ) The group meeting in Springhill: Jeff and I (khaki TJs) Jamie and Melanie (red TJ) There are a few "maybes" from the Halifax direction, and a couple of maybes from around here, and a couple of guys might join Paul from NB. So we could have a minimum of 6, but maybe as many as 12. Cindy

Wow, good group there Paul, look forward to meeting you tomorrow! It would be about 9 to 10 km from the Amherst Tims to the trail head.

glad you guys had a good day. i'll be out to enjoy the jeep with you all soon. now where r the pics You know what Wade - you could have came on this run. We had a brand new JK show up for the run so we all pitched in and cleared the trail up to JK-size. We didn't know he was coming though until he showed up. All of the challenges were pretty much gone - washed away by the rain. The quicksand hole was merely a big mud puddle, and the mud on the pole line was nothing like it was before. It was a Sunday drive in the woods! Probably would have been a perfect run for your newly-painted Jeep. At the end of the run, when Mark hit the pavement to head back to Amherst, his rear driveshaft broke - literally as he pulled away. It blew apart right in front of us and left a piece of it on the highway. He retrieved it, took out the rest of the shaft and drove home in front-wheel drive. Nice place for that to happen, if it was going to happen. Better than on a wet muddy trail. The weather cleared up nicely and it was a beautiful day to be in the woods. The blackflies came out though!!!! I'll post some pics up when I get a break from work. Cindy

Cindy Yep the trail is now wide enuf that even TJ can make this run without getting a scratch on his Big Dirty... BTW, the JK was Brad at the Shine Depot and if he can get through without a scratch then almost anyone can... I'm hoping for Cindy and I to get a nice day to go work on clearing the new trail we found this week. Jeff
