So when is this run going to be held. Wayne was asking and i couldn't remember when. At first I thought you were talking about the Truro run this Saturday then Jeff clued me in you probably meant the run up here in Springhill. THAT run is supposed to be Sunday, November 1st.

This saturday, where is this one. Is that the truro one. Would like to hit it but not sure what me clutch is doing right now. Going to check it out this weekend. Maybe next week we can get some more trails figured out.

Maybe next week we can get some more trails figured out. This Saturday eveyone is meeting at Tim Hortons in Debert at 10am. From there they will split into two groups - one group is doing the Army Roads (stock friendly), and the other group is doing the Breakline (not stock friendly). Wade or Chad can confirm this, but the Breakline has minimum requirements of 33" tires. lockers front and rear, and rocker protection. Jeff and I plan to run the Breakline. In the next weekend or two (not this one coming up) if you want to go back and check out and clear more trails I know of another way into the Donkey - but it needs quite a bit of clearing. We should also check out that road we saw on the other side of the pole line. That could be another entrance/exit.

Yep I believe that is the plan. I don't have lockers, but i also didn't make it up brakeline, lol And dana only has 31s too and he has no problem in the cj5. haha But that list would definitely be an advantage. It's quite the hillclimb. I think I am only going to run the debert army roads if i get my jeep finished in time. It was fighting with me today. I made no progress.

i have no lockers, a limited slip in the rear and 31's and i made it up breakline, but it did cost me the vac motor in the front axle(broke the fork off, but it was on its way out anyway). when did this locker and 33 rule come into play for breakline? there is a reason it is called breakline, you WILL break some thing ;D

Or maybe someone just said 33's and lockers were "recommended"...

Jeff and I went out with the NSJC North Nova Chapter yesterday and ran the Breakline Trail. It was an awesome trail - we loved it! We loved it so much we ran it backwards too! It was a very scenic mountain climb (and descent when we came back down). There were mountain streams, waterfalls, tight technical sections, rocky sections and off-camber sections. It certainly was a challenge going up, and it presented new challanges coming back down. No one broke anything, but a couple of new dents were put in some (not mine or Jeff's though ) Just having rain the day before made the trail very slippery and the rocks treacherous (we had two casualties - one sustained a cut injury and the other just got a bruised butt.) Jeff and Ray got the cut disinfected and bandaged up and he was good to go. Some people needed to be winched. The trail head is only about 50 kms from us - not too far at all! Cheers, Cindy PS - I'm working on pics now.

and there is a ton of rock off to the side of the trail that makes the Ringer look stock friendly I also noticed that the snowmobile trail 310 goes right there...kinda hoping that we can get to 310 from Springhill... Lotsa trails, lotsa rock and lots to explore and develope I'm hoping to set a CORE run up for us to head up for a day! Jeff
