Yeah, it's a much nicer welder than anything I've used...hopefully my welding won't make it look bad! ;D It'll be in next week, so bumper pics to follow. The tractor is pretty sweet. It's hard looking but runs well after I tinkered with it a bit. It's mostly for hauling a little stud wood off my new lot. I have a co-worker who owns a wood-mizer sawmill and the plan is to start a proper garage next spring. 24 by 32 or maybe a bit bigger. Of course once one owns a tractor, the ideas and expenses just keep piling up...snow blade, bushcutter, trailer, and so on. It's a vicious cycle.

Soon after the move (which is this monday) we can get it away for a rip. I'm pumped, just have to get the 33's mounted and build my bumper.
What are you planning for a rear stretch setup Jeff? I saw a cool kit for a three link in a mag I get. Flexy.
Oh yeah, I tried out my welder a couple times now...it's wicked. The gun and trigger somehow feels better quality, setup is easy with the chart under the cover and the dinky little gauge that comes with it is handy. I burned some 1/4" plate on a worn out lawn tractor axle and it was the prettiest welds of my life. Next stuff I do I'll snap some pics for critique.

Very kool Adrian...we are just planning on moving my rear arms back 8 to 10 inches if we can...at the same time we will be raising the rear frame and raising the coilovers, it should give me more articulation and will allow me to go to a longer coilover when I can afford them...

Nice... To raise the rear frame, is it just a matter of removing some body lift, or are you going to be *ahem modifying the tub? Whew...I'm tired. I've been WFO on the house renos since we got the new place. Laid a couple laminate floors, framed and plywooded in a floor in the back porch, tore out a shower stall, stuck in a big shelve (trimmed it with curly maple from my father-in-law) and now I'm tackling the tub surround and plumbing a shower head into the tub. Broken is still showing her ugly ass, but in a couple weeks I'll build my bumper I think.

Well trying to fix up my frame but the rain is delaying it. I have 2 holes and a big crack in my frame. Taking the steps off and building my own rock rails and then welding on some pipes to make steps out of. Went to pull the steps off and ripped another hole in my frame. So far all i have to do is weld everything up but the rain is making it hard.

Thanks, they're just the OEM wheels painted black. They've stayed good though, I did them a couple years ago. Here's one more glamour shot on the bridge on my property. Now I just have to find time to finish my back bumper! Attachments:
